
An easy out-and-back hike through the larch forests of Les Orres. A great spot for a picnic awaits at the destination!
➡️ START:
From Les Orres 1650, take the bridge on the left, then go up Allée des Chamois to reach the Épervière parking lot.
➡️ ROUTE:
The trailhead is at the end of the parking lot. You will pass under the Pramouton ski lift, cross a ski slope, and enter the woodlands.
At the intersection, follow the track up for 80m. At the Clot la Reine sign, head toward Lac Collinaire du Grand Clos, following the old canal.
At the Fort Anglaise sign, turn right toward Lac Collinaire du Grand Clos, passing by the Nain Rouge hut.
At the next intersection, take a right onto the forest track, then ascend directly below the lake.
➡️ OPTIONAL RETURN ROUTE:
Walk around the lake, then follow trail marker #8: “Au frais des Mélèzes” for a scenic return.
