Introduce yourself in a few words

I'm Charlotte alias Cha, Lolotte and I'm 23.
Sport is more than an activity, it's clearly a passion, especially outdoor mountain sports. Skiing and mountain biking have clearly become the disciplines of my free time.
Aside from sport, I'm an architect and I've started photography. I love capturing fragments of life and sharing them. I love telling stories through images. I love going on adventures and doing outdoor sports, close to nature. Skiing, biking, people call me a jack-of-all-trades! I'm not the most technical person, but I love to keep up with my friends and I go all out. Sharing is definitely in my DNA.

What's your connection with Les Orres?

I met Les Orres 6 years ago, Thomas and Christophe Ubassy put me on a bike and I enjoyed it from the very first descent.
"But have you ever ridden a downhill bike?"
"No, no."
"But are you sure? You've got the right position and you're riding well for a first-timer."
It was a good match right from the start. Since that day, Les Orres has become my heart resort and my second home.

Summer and winter alike, I spend a lot of time here for its playground, but also because
the resort is a small village where everyone knows each other and where kindness and love reign
reigns. It feels like home, like a family.

What's your best memory of Les Orres?

Whether skiing, biking or hiking, each moment is unique and that's why I don't necessarily have the best memories, but only good ones here.

What made you want to do this sport or activity?

The mountains are a real playground, it's incredible. I come from Aix en Provence and
you're not far from the mountains and not far from the sea. But my heart is clearly drawn to the mountains. It's so fascinating, it's breathtaking and you never get bored.
Outdoor sports, whether skiing, mountain biking or many others, give you an adrenalin rush that's addictive, really.
Once you taste the puff, you're clearly hooked.

How does Les Orres fit in with your practice?

Les Orres is a chameleon of a resort, clearly catering for all profiles and offering
activities for everyone! And it never stops dreaming up new infrastructures, activities..
It's a resort that has a knack for offering the best and reinventing itself to keep up with the times. There's something for every taste and style: downhill skiing, ski touring, freeride, zip-lining, hiking, skating rinks, toboggans, simulators, climbing, gyms .... And the list goes on..

You don't have time to get bored, and you can do it all - that's the fun! Clearly, I'm overjoyed, and you can never get enough of the views, landscapes and lights.

What are your plans for this year and those to come?

I've already had a great winter season in Les Orres, which is incredible. And after that, a sublime trip awaits me. I'm off to New Zealand for 3 months, trekking, discovering the culture, whoofing, improving my English and, above all, taking in the sights and the heart. I'm particularly aiming for the South Island for all its mountains, I never stray too far from it :)
And then when I get back, I'm going to pursue my photography project and maybe even try my hand at video, although NZ will already be a good playground. And find an architecture agency, maybe not far from Les Orres ahah. I'm starting to get a taste for mountain life.

Any last words?

My last word would be: thank you for this adventure!

I'm so proud to represent Les Orres and to write a piece of history with the whole team that made this
adventure possible and incredible. THANK YOU!

Introduce yourself in a few words

Yo, I'm Célian, 25, from Venelles near Aix-en-Provence. As an aeronautical engineer, I live every day at 200%, filling my days with sports of all kinds, mechanics, bike part prototyping, content creation, but also aperitifs with friends!

Generally speaking, I'm in love with the aura that surrounds sport, whatever it may be: mountain biking, skiing, crossfit or wakeboarding are all individual sports, but in which I believe we find the most developed cohesion. Riding means meeting new people all year round, in spots all over France!

Preferring the chill atmosphere of "leisure" practices to that of competition, I now try to transcribe the energy of our sessions on the networks, now accompanied by several brands over the seasons.

What's your connection with Les Orres?

Les Orres is the resort where I started mountain biking in 2017. I also spent many weekends there in winter with my village club. Since then, I've been back every year without exception, and I've admired the resort's evolution over the seasons!
It's my favorite resort, our "HQ" in a way. Close to home, it's my favorite place in summer and winter, where I've made some extraordinary encounters and forged strong bonds with my friends! In the end, it doesn't matter whether I go up alone or with others, I'm sure I'll meet someone there to share a crazy session!

Whether I'm biking or skiing, the diversity of slopes and spots is very appreciable, the team at the Tourist Office, lifts and seasonal workers very welcoming, the atmosphere very family-oriented, and that's why I always come back to the same point: "Are we going up this weekend?

What's your best memory of Les Orres?

I could write a book on the subject, so many anecdotes abound. From the many bivouacs with friends, to the various bikepark Opening & Closing parties spent laughing out loud all day long, to the impromptu photo shoots and parties with the seasonal workers.
In short, Les Orres is a memory that's kept alive over the years!

What made you want to do this sport?

My parents put me on skis at the age of 3, and it was a natural progression for me to develop a passion for the mountains and adrenaline. I developed this passion by taking part in VPAM (Venelles ski club) outings and races throughout my teenage years, then by discovering mountain biking at the age of 17! Once I was on my own and had my licence, there wasn't a summer or winter weekend that didn't take place in the mountains, and I don't intend to break the rule for years to come!

How does Les Orres fit in with your practice?

Summer or winter, the multitude of ski lifts gives access to a huge vertical drop with a wide variety of slopes! Whether it's summer, with its technical slopes and jumps, or winter, with its wide, virgin slopes and powdery forests, I'm sure I'll find what I'm looking for at every turn.

Its main strength is that it has listened to riders' feedback at the end of each season, so that it can continually improve and move in the right direction!

Last but not least, the multitude of facilities on offer means I can find what I'm looking for every weekend, whether for sport, food, accommodation or outings!

What are your plans for this year and those to come?

Whether on skis or bikes, my upcoming sessions will be dedicated to learning new tricks and perfecting those I've already mastered to gain in confidence.

On the pro side, I'd like to continue working hand in hand with trusted brands, whose images I like to share on the networks. And why not, one day, set up my own business?

If you were a trail in Les Orres?

I'd be a bike track, and without hesitation the Teigneuse, on which I've spent so much time since it opened!

If you were a place in Les Orres?

I would be the Grizzly, for reasons that are still hidden to this day... or not!

Any last words?

Extremely grateful for the trust Les Orres has placed in me since last summer for this ambassadorial role, I look forward to every session to be able to create image here, proudly representing its aura!

The wonderful encounters I've had this year and last summer have only fuelled the flame in my heart for this resort, and I sincerely hope that this is just the beginning of a great adventure!

Finally, a big THANK YOU to everyone involved in Les Orres, who ensures that unforgettable memories are etched in our heads :)

Introduce yourself in a few words

My name is Victor Broquedis, I'm 21 and I'm from Les Orres. I skied from the age of 5 to 16 at the Ski Club des Orres. When I was 16, I decided to give up alpine skiing to take up freeride skiing, where I took part in the Freeride junior tour for two years, winning a number of podiums including a runner-up spot in the French championship and a top 10 overall in Europe. After those two great years, I decided to stop competing because I just didn't feel right anymore.

So I decided to go into video with my childhood friend Jules. So I returned to my native Hautes Alpes and for the past three years I've been working on video and photo projects with the brands that support me: Commencal, Dakine and 100%. This year I'm delighted to be representing the resort I've always called home.

What's your connection with Les Orres?

It's the resort where I grew up and where my whole family grew up, from my grandparents to my youngest cousins. It's an emblematic resort that I wouldn't leave for anything in the world, because it's where I made my very first turns!

What's your best memory of Les Orres?

My very first front flip at Les Orres snow park! I was 10 and I remember it like it was yesterday, I was so happy!

What made you want to do this sport or activity?

With the ski club, we've always done a lot of off-piste when conditions allowed. I've always been very comfortable in this environment, and I've always told my friends and parents that I wanted to become a freerider. Candide Thovex's videos have always inspired me and made me want to do it - he's one of my idols!
The day I had the opportunity to embark on this path, I didn't hesitate for a second! Today, I'm lucky enough to be realizing my dream.

How does Les Orres fit in with your practice?

Les Orres is a resort with slopes and very playful valleys that let us enjoy ourselves no matter what the conditions.
It also provides access to quality off-piste runs that allow us to capture some great images, not forgetting the magnificent larch forests where we make our best tracks!

If you were a trail in Les Orres?

I'll be on Grand Cabane, which I think is the most beautiful run in the resort!

If you were a place in Les Orres?

I'd go for the Aupillon, because once at the top, it's a real high-mountain feeling, overlooking the magnificent valley of Lake Sainte Marguerite.

I'm very happy to be part of the Ambassad'Orres team. I can't wait to share my world and my projects with the resort and its visitors, and I intend to represent it in the best possible way!

Introduce yourself in a few words

My name is Jules Bellot, I'm 23 and I've been a freelance filmmaker since 2019. When I'm not preparing projects or filming I spend a lot of time exploring on skis or a bike, and sometimes I'm also a ski instructor during the vacations! Ever since I was a kid, I've been attracted to anything artistic or aesthetic, whether it's music or film. I've always been fascinated by beautiful images and the emotions they convey, and now I try to share that with my approach and the stories that speak to me. I started by filming with my friends when we went skiing or riding, then I progressed little by little until I set up my own audiovisual production company in 2019.

Since then, I've been lucky enough to travel all over the world to film a variety of projects, mainly in the sports world. From documentaries to advertising to portraits, I've been able to collaborate with many players in the outdoor world, and my aim is to share as best I can the stories and passion that drive us all in this environment.

What's your connection with Les Orres?

Les Orres is home! I spent 8 years competing at the SCOCE and almost as many on the bikepark every summer, so I'm obviously attached to this area and the personalities of the resort.

It's also where I come back between projects and where I reset all the meters. Whether it's summer or winter, we've got our secret spots where we can go and ride with our mates, have a good laugh or get a bit of a kick out of it. The terrain is pretty varied and there's something for every level and condition, which is what I like about it here.

This is also where I got my start with my first video projects, when I was 14-15 I started using GoPro's and then filming my brother and my mates skiing and cycling. Even if now I also have the chance to travel to film projects, I try as much as possible to bring teams and athletes here to Les Orres, to show them what we can do here, and it's my way of giving back what this place has given me!

For me, Les Orres is a superb tool for inspiration and 100% self-expression.

What's your best memory of Les Orres?

I think that my years of competition at SCOCE left a deep impression on me and taught me a lot of values that are dear to me. If I had to choose one highlight, I'd say the powder days with my mates in the larches haha!

What made you want to do this sport or activity?

I think outdoor sports and image go hand in hand, we're super privileged to have the mountains as our playground and I've always wanted to share my vision of them.

How does Les Orres fit in with your practice?

It's a very complete resort, with something for every taste, level and condition. The terrain in the area is challenging even for good skiers, and the freeride possibilities outside the area are endless! Special mention for the lighting, which is often incredible!

Any last words?

Super proud to wear the colors of Les Orres through my projects and my travels! And THANK YOU to all the teams who work behind the scenes to offer us this beautiful playground!

What are your plans for this year and those to come?

I've got my sights set on 2023, and I'm becoming increasingly fascinated by the stories behind each and every one of us. I have two short-format documentaries in production at the moment. I'm also preparing a ski film with the COMMENCAL Snow brand, which will be filmed partly in Les Orres and partly in Canada. I also have one of the most ambitious projects of my career that I'm getting ready to film this summer. I can't say too much about it yet, but it should be great!
