Les Orres resort has got the word out: if you come across Super Mario, Sangoku, the Totally spies, unicorns, little dragons or Wonder Woman in the resort, don't be surprised.
💡 TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 17, 2026 , put on your best costumes, it's Mardi Gras on the slopes! Costumes on loan for children and adults from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on the Front de neige 1650. Keep the costumes all day, returning until 4:45 p.m.

Mardi Gras refers to the "week of seven fat days" for Christians. Tuesday, the day of Carnival, is the last day before the start of a period of fasting, Lent, during which Christians are encouraged to eat lean and, in particular, no meat. The word Carnaval comes from this origin: in Latin, "carne levare" means "to remove the flesh", and therefore to do away with meat.
