Committed to developing the mountain of tomorrow, Les Orres has also proved that the Smart Mountain is a mountain that combines technology and new experiences. New projects are being launched in the resort, with the aim of enhancing the natural environment and heritage, as well as new mountain sports and leisure experiences.

- Before the 1970s, the town was only known for the traditional La Portette ski run. Today, Les Orres boasts 35 ski runs, over a hundred kilometers of reserved downhill runs, and attentive equipment rental... You're sure to enjoy yourself. For the greatest pleasure of riders of all levels, our snowboarders, groomers and first-aid attendants are passionate about their work, ensuring daily delivery of a safe, high-quality ski area. Thanks to its two approved slopes (Pistes du Stade and de la Pousterle), Les Orres is also a regular venue for top-level competitions: French Alpine Skiing Championships (February 1980), 1st Men's Downhill European Cup (January 1994), but also more recently a Men's Downhill European Cup in January 2010 and an international FIS DAMES downhill ski race in January 2019. In March 2023, the resort will host the French Alpine Skiing Championships.
- Les Orres is the capital of fun skiing, and for several years now has also been focusing on freestyle disciplines. Under the Prélongis chairlift, a snowpark featuring two lines of progressively more difficult terrain has been specially designed by the resort and local riders to provide a fun and playful experience for all levels! A boardercross in the Galopins area completes this area, allowing beginners to learn about terrain movements in complete safety.

A new snow front at 1800 since December 2021! Dedicated to novices and off-ski activities, it offers 1 area dedicated to tobogganing on snow and two zones for learning to ski. As for the Préclaux chairlift and the Bois Méan ski lift, they are now replaced by two covered conveyors, 55 and 200 metres long. Free of charge, the first Bois Méan conveyor serves the toboggan run and first glide area. No need for a ski pass to take your little ones to the ski school gardens or to make their first slides! Partly covered by solar panels, the larger Préclaux conveyor serves the beginners' area as well as the Marmottes green run, which takes skiers as far as Les Orres 1650. A play area for toddlers completes the offer.
For summer 2022: a kid's mountain bike zone and a green trail served by the Préclaux carpet will strengthen the mountain bike offering in the 1800 sector.

Les Orres and its partners also offer a wide range of non-ski and après-ski activities. Summer mountains as you've never imagined them

During the summer season, the resort of Les Orres is transformed into a Bike Park not to be missed. No. 1 in the Southern Alps and No. 3 in France, it welcomes downhill and enduro mountain bikers of all levels. The Bike Park ranges in altitude from 1600m to 2600m, and is represented by its ambassador, Anne-Caroline CHAUSSON, multiple world mountain bike champion and 1st Olympic BMX champion in history.
After hosting the French Enduro Series for 5 years and the European Enduro Series in 2018, the Les Orres resort was chosen to organize the5th round of the Enduro World Series, held on July 6 & 7, 2019. The EWS attracted over 400 international riders of 43 nationalities, more than 4,000 international, French, regional and local visitors and a staff of over 150.
DH (or downhill mountain biking) is also in the spotlight for the competitions. The resort already hosted a Coupe de France round in 2009, the route of which gave rise to the emblematic Coupe de France, a black track with a highly technical layout. A round of the 2020 & 2021 Coupe was held again in Les Orres, on a Bike Park enriched by previous experience and the constant investments made to improve ride quality and safety for all. Next step: hosting the French Championships in September 2022.
The resort is also bidding to host a DH World Cup in the next few years!
- For families in search of new experiences and rejuvenation, Les Orres and its resort partners have designed a wide range of activities with the introduction of the "Passp'Orres ": a multi-activity pass giving access for 1, 6 or 13 consecutive days (you choose the1st day) to several activities, some of which are unlimited (skating rink, swimming pool, cinema and pedestrian chairlifts, and l'Orrian Express toboggan rides). On presentation of your Passp'Orres, you'll also benefit from discounts at many of our partners!

Pedestrians, you'll be delighted to have chosen Les Orres as your summer vacation destination. A dozenhiking trails await you in the resort, and many more in the whole of Les Orres. For the more curious, themed trails will transport you into the world of the mountains in a fun way, and for the more sporty, take on the great crossings of Boussolenc and Aupillon!

Since 1998, you can also try your hand at our two Via Ferrata routes, suitable for all levels of climber. So don't hesitate, don your helmet and harness, and discover our cliffs and their splendid view of La Mazelière! For your first experience, don't hesitate to call on our qualified guides.

- Being nestled in the heart of the Parpaillon massif doesn't mean being cut off from the world! Les Orres has been offering free WiFi to holidaymakers since 2007. New 4G antennas will soon reduce the number of "white zones" in hamlets and other parts of the commune.
