A hike in the heart of a wild and unspoiled landscape, surrounded by snow-capped peaks until early summer. This place is renowned for its abundant wildlife, including marmots and chamois that inhabit its slopes.

➡️ THE DEPARTURE:

Pra Paisset Parking: On the D40, as you arrive at the station, head towards Les Orres 1800. Drive 1.5 km until you reach the parking lot, just before the first hairpin turn.

➡️ THE ROUTE:

Follow the forest track to the Pré la Pierre bridge, which crosses the Eyssalette stream. Continue on this track until you reach the junction indicating "Sources de Jérusalem." Take this direction. You can do a round trip to the springs (1 km total).

The trail then heads to the right up the embankment towards Vallon de Muretier. It winds through the forest and alpine meadows, leading to the valley's end.

Return via the same route.

Want to go higher?
For more experienced hikers, you can continue to Col du Pouzenc and the summit of Pouzenc (2,898 m).

Col du Pouzenc: From the valley's end, cross the rocky scree and ascend to the right via a steep, zigzagging path to the pass. Breathtaking views await!
