Zian Zervettaz, a young mountain guide from Chamonix, finds his destiny intertwined with that of Bianca, the daughter of a wealthy industrialist from Milan, as he introduces her to his passionate love of the mountains. Thus begins a great love story. And yet...

For those who hear the call of the peaks, there is the intimate struggle with the rock and the exhilaration of reaching the summit.

Based on the novel by Roger Frison-Roche, this film tells a love story between three people set in the late 1930s.
