The word is out at Les Orres: if you come across Super Mario, Sangoku, Totally Spies, unicorns, little dragons or Wonder Woman in the resort, don't be surprised. It's Mardi Gras on the slopes!
Join in the fun all week long and take part in the many activities planned for everyone: blind tests, shows and parades, make-up stands, disguised ski descents, skating rink nights, bingo, torchlight descents, treasure hunts, Olympics...

Did you know?
Mardi Gras refers to the "week of seven fat days" for Christians. Tuesday, the day of Carnival, is the last day before the start of a period of fasting, Lent, during which Christians are encouraged to eat lean and, in particular, no meat. The word Carnaval comes from this origin: in Latin, "carne levare" means "to remove the flesh", and therefore to do away with meat.
