The world's best riders (Loïc Bruni, Amaury Pierron, Benoit Coulanges, Myriam Nicole...), who have just shone at the World Downhill Mountain Bike Championships, took part in today's placement round in Les Orres. At stake was the title of CHAMPION DE FRANCE VTT descente. Here's a look back at the first day's rankings before tomorrow's grand finale.

TOP RIDERS HANDED OVER TO THE NEXT GENERATION

This afternoon in Les Orres, the Kids Academy handed out bibs to the world's top riders who had inspired them during last week's World Championships. An important moment in the French Championships, where the transmission of knowledge to the next generation was given pride of place!

4-hour, full-day and 2-day mountain bike packages are available at the following rates

all weekend!

- 4 consecutive hours at €18 instead of €23

- All day at 20€ if purchased until D-2 online, 24€ (at the cash desk) instead of 26.50€

- 2 consecutive days at 40€ if purchased up to D-2 online, 43€ (at the cash desk) instead of 48€

IMPORTANT The PIC VERT chairlift will only be accessible to race drivers and pedestrian visitors during the weekend. The Prelongis and Pousterle chairlifts remain accessible to all.

The championship finals will be broadcast live on France TV Sport and Eurosport from 7pm to 9pm on Sunday September 11 (slightly delayed).
