On September 14 and 15 in Les Orres, GeorgraphR and the Maison de la Météo et du Climat des Orres (MMCO) are organizing two scientific and technical days open to all, as part of the "Air, Sustainable Development and Climate" (ADDC) symposium.

After 3 previous editions, during which professionals in the fields of air, sustainable development and climate met to discuss topics of study, GeographR and the MMCO are preparing a new symposium to discuss environmental issues related to the mountains.

CONFERENCE PROGRAM

Thursday, September 14th

  • 9:00am-12:00pm. MMCO General Meeting. Presentation of new missions and local issues (climate and climate change, foresight...).
  • 14h00-17h00. GREC-PACA mobilizes Alpine players. For its next issue on "mountains and adaptation to climate change", GREC-PACA is inviting Alpine stakeholders to form a thematic working group (TWG) on mountain issues. The aim is to define the main themes to be addressed in the publication and to designate contributors

Speakers: Philippe Rossello (GeographR, leader and coordinator of GREC-PACA), representatives of ADEME, the PACA region and Alpine researchers and players.

Friday, September 15th
