Les Orres offers more than twenty hiking trails accessible from the resort's chairlifts . Ranging from easy to very challenging, some of them are ideal for those hot summer days. The " Bergerie Gautier " trail (easy level) takes walkers along a forest path, with the sound of the torrent below. The medium-level "Au frais des mélèzes" trail is a long, cool, downhill hike through the larch forest, passing through Grand-Clos and its water reserve, which turns into a mirror lake.

After admiring the panorama from the top of the Pousterle chairlift, hikers can stop off at lac d'altitude Sainte-Marguerite, nestled in a lush green valley.
