La Nuit de la Glisse, a major label and key player in the world of action and outdoor sports, is coming to the Les Orres cinema.

Open to everyone – athletes, families, the curious and lovers of action sports – the event promises a moment of sharing, emotion and inspiration.

THE FILMS:

Two complementary films united by the same quest: the search for the perfect moment.

First part: Chronicles of a Wild Decade pays tribute to the 2010s through Thierry Donard’s personal archives, revisiting a pivotal decade for action sports. From the dizzying slopes of Mont Blanc to the monstrous waves of Teahupo’o, through the fjords of Northern Europe or the icy rapids of Norway, this film retraces the total commitment of a generation of athletes who redefined the limits.

Second part: Free Birds dives into the present alongside young riders who are pushing the boundaries of their disciplines. Snowboarding in the Norwegian polar night, XXL surfing in Nazaré, precision speedriding in the Alps, aerial wingfoiling on Oregon’s rivers—each sequence is a blend of freedom, beauty and mastery.
