n August 24 and 25, the resort of Les Orres will be vibrating to the rhythm of downhill mountain bike competitions with the Coupe Régionale de Provence Côte d'Azur DH and a DH Kid.

The Coupe de Provence is open to licensed riders only, and takes place over two days, with two reconnaissance runs on Saturday August 24 and the two-run competition on Sunday August 25. The event will bring together categories from minimes to masters. In the end, the best of the two heats will be taken into account for the final ranking.

THE PROGRAM

Saturday, August 24th

  • 08:00 / 10:00: registration and plate collection
  • 09:30 / 12:30: first training session
  • 12h30 / 13h00 : break and closing of the track
  • 13h00 / 16h30 :2nd training session

Sunday August 25th

  • 08:30 am: chairlift opens. Warm-up allowed on Bike Park trails (except the one reserved for the race).
  • 10:00 am:1st run
  • 14:00: start of2nd run
  • 16:30 : prize-giving ceremony

Finally, on Sunday August 25, the DH Kid will take place, open to all categories from Pupils to Cadets. The seeds of champions will challenge each other over the course of the day, with 2 reconnaissance runs + 2 rounds.

THE PROGRAMME

  • 08h30/09h45: Registration and number collection
  • 09:00 / 11:00: Reconnaissance (2 recos compulsory)
  • 11:15am:1st RUN
  • 14:45:2nd RUN
  • 16:30: Prize-giving ceremony

Due to these 2 competitions, some of the bike-park trails will be closed to the public:

  • Tracks closed Saturday August 24: Cool rider, Coupe de France, Vallon, Pédale Douce and Jethro.
  • Tracks closed Sunday August 25: Cool rider, Coupe de France and Vallon.

As a result, special rates will be introduced:

  • Day: 21€ instead of 24.50€/adult and 17€ instead of 19.50€/children
  • Weekend: 38€ instead of 42€/adult and 30.50€ instead of 34€/children
