The 2nd edition of the Girly Ride Weekend was held this weekend in Les Orres. The event brought together over 70 female riders on the Bike Park trails for 2 days of learning, improving, sharing and conviviality. Here's a look back at the weekend's action, which gave women's mountain biking pride of place.

Encouraging women's mountain biking

Les Orres is committed toencouraging and developing downhill mountain biking among women. The Girly ride weekend is a first step in this direction, bringing together women for a weekend dedicated to them. This creates an inclusive environment, encouraging beginners and offering a friendly space in which to learn and progress.

The participation of our 2 "VIPs" Sabrina Jonnier and Nathalie Baillon highlighted the exceptional careers of women who have made their mark in this sport. Their testimonials and coaching during the Girly Ride weekend were particularly appreciated by the participants.

The Girly Ride weekend was particularly marked by a community spirit, with many moments of exchange enabling participants to share their experiences, help and motivate each other.
