Les Orres resort wins renewal of the Famille Plus label

Les Orres has always been a popular destination for families, and many children have discovered the joys of the mountains here! So it's only natural that the commune of Les Orres has been committed to the Famille Plus label for several years (awarded in 2006), in order to guarantee all tribes a quality welcome and facilities adapted to all ages.
This national label, recognized by the French Ministry of Tourism, is designed to recognize member communes that have taken a comprehensive approach to welcoming families.
Following an audit carried out in Les Orres last February, the Comité National de Gestion du label Famille Plus has decided to renew the label for Les Orres for a further 3 years.
The criteria concern :
- welcome andinformation,
- local events ,
- activities,
- discovery and awareness of theenvironment and heritage,
- accommodation, restaurants , shops and services,
- facilities, transport and safety
- rates adapted to families and/or children
Pierre Balme, Chairman of the Comité National de Gestion and of the Groupe de Travail de l'Association Nationale des Maires de Station de Montagne "Famille Plus montagne", will present the Famille Plus trophy to Les Orres on June 13 at Vaujany, on the occasion of the annual Famille Plus mountain seminar.
