New Year's Eve in Les Orres: an open-air party!

On December 31, the resort of Les Orres celebrated the arrival of the New Year in style. In a convivial atmosphere, the festivities were in full swing thanks to a program specially designed for the occasion. A memorable evening that left lasting memories for holidaymakers and locals alike.
Here's a look back at an exceptional night.
An evening of celebration and sharing
From 5.30pm, the resort set the tone with a DJ set that warmed up the atmosphere on the 1650 snow front.
At 6pm, torchlight lit up the slopes for the last ski show of the year, delighting young and old alike.
The traditional fireworks display celebrated the end of 2024 in style, with explosions of light that lit up the whole resort, from the summit of Boussolenc to the sparkling eyes of children.
From 11 p.m. onwards, all participants gathered around a final DJ set as they left the restaurants and accommodation tables. And to round off the evening on a high note, 12 seconds to midnight: the countdown to the famous 12 strokes of midnight sounded. The entry into 2025 was accompanied by hugs and good resolutions. Participants left with unforgettable memories.
Unanimous support for the festivities
"Now in its 7th year, the "12 strokes of midnight" New Year's Eve celebration on the snow front has become a not-to-be-missed event in Les Orres. Families, friends, regulars, Orrians, locals and new visitors were all together in an explosion of joy and smiles. The success of this event is largely due to its conviviality and collective energy. Year on year, the success is growing. Last night, thousands of us were on track for 2025!" emphasizes Emmanuelle Tahmazian, Director of the Les Orres Tourist Office.
Participants were equally enthusiastic: "It's our first time here, and it's magical. The entertainment, the atmosphere, everything is perfectly organized. Thank you so much, we had a great time, and we're looking forward to coming back next year!" says Lindsay, who came all the way from Nice with her partner and their two children.
Between the amazement of the holidaymakers and the pride of the resort's teams, this New Year's Eve was a real collective success.
