
Great skiing, good spirits and mountain specialities were the order of the day on this first opening day!
500 vouchers were available for the Tartiskiflette operation, and there's not a single one left! The first 500 customers who booked their ski pass online for this weekend were able to take advantage (or will be able to take advantage tomorrow), of their 10€ voucher to be redeemed on a mountain speciality from our restaurateurs.
a totalof 3,100 customers were present today, and just as many are expected tomorrow and next week.
The Château Queyras cheese dairy's "cheese hunt" was also a great success. Skiers who found the tickets hidden around the resort were able to take home a variety of local cheeses to enjoy. On the menu: plain raclette, savory raclette, tome de vache and bleu du Queyras.
The season got off to an excellent start with 40cm of snow at the bottom of the slopes and over 100cm, including 30cm of fresh snow, at the summit.
6 lifts, including the largest, were open today. The rest will open gradually, and tomorrow, Sunday December 10, 3 additional runs and a ski lift will open in turn...
Customers were able to rediscover the pleasures of the slopes in good spirits , with the added bonus of sunshine to accompany this morning's opening.
Ski clubs and partners gathered in Les Orres this morning to take to the slopes as soon as they opened, and to chart their first descents. Skis Clubs from Venelle, Aix en Provence, Réallon, Vars and, of course, Les Orres' own club, SCOCE, were out in force to take advantage of the slopes on the very first day!
After the opening, it's time for the Winter Fair! The resort is gearing up for the festive season to ensure a wonderful Christmas in the mountains and New Year's Eve festivities for all our guests!
The ski area has regained its snow cover and will welcome skiers for a new season of skiing every day from Saturday December 9, 2023 to Monday April 7, 2024. For the first days of the season, check out all the sectors that are open on our page :
