An easy, well-marked walk with a steady 300 m ascent, taking around 1 hour 30 minutes, along a forest track. The springs flow abundantly between two limestone layers and are partly channelled to provide water for the resort of Les Orres
Why “Jérusalem”?
Until the 18th century, the springs of Jérusalem, Muretier, as well as other nearby lands, belonged to the Order of Saint John of Jerusalem and of Malta.
Start: Pra Paisset car park, Bois Méan road.
Free access.
From the Pra Païsset parking lot, head for the Gautier hut (fully restored), and its picnic area in the mountain pastures.
The springs of Jerusalem are an easy hike to do with the family, to cool off in the middle of summer.
