The 2022-2023 winter season kicks off this Saturday, December 10 in Les Orres! Everyone involved in the resort is getting ready to welcome the many skiers and visitors this weekend. On the program this season: a host of new features, events and activities. All our teams are looking forward to welcoming you to Les Féeries d'hiver, and to celebrating the opening with a gourmet rendezvous: the Tartiskiflette!

Opening of the ski area
The ski area has regained its snow cover and will welcome skiers for a new season of skiing every day from Saturday, December 10, 2022, to Monday, April 10, 2023. For the first days of the season, see all the sectors open on our page :

The Les Orres resort , participating restaurateurs and the Fromagerie de Château-Queyras are planning a feast to celebrate the return to skiing and the opening of the season!
On December 10 and 11, 2022, a €10 voucher for a mountain speciality is offered* to the first 500 people to buy a day or 2-day consecutive ski pass online for December 10 and 11, 2022. Go to www.forfait.lesorres.com until midnight on 9/12 (offer not available for purchases made at the ticket office)
The 1650 snowfront will also be bustling with activity all day on Saturday December 11 and Sunday December 12, with a cheese hunt organized in collaboration with the Fromagerie de Château-Queyras, a selfie booth, quizzes, large wooden games and goodies to be won!

The season's new features
The 2022-2023 season will also be marked by a number of new features:
- Beginners' and advanced area at Les Orres 1800: The 1800 snow front was transformed last year to accommodate a detachable 6-seater chairlift and 2 conveyors serving a toboggan run, the beginners' and advanced area, the Marmottes green run and a play area for toddlers.
- Le Canal snowshoe hike: Starting this winter, you can enjoy a longer, undulating trail through the heart of the larch forest, crossed by the old irrigation canal. 4.1 km of pleasure where only the sound of footsteps disturbs the silence of the white expanse. Accessible to all.
- Alpin Spa and Khota Grill by Alpin d'Home: Alpin d'Hôme completes its offering with a new panoramic dome dedicated to well-being: hammam, sauna, Nordic bath, relaxation area and treatment cabins. You're sure to fall in love! The Khota grill is the perfect place to spend convivial evenings by the fire. Come and grill your own food on this brazier and share a convivial and unusual meal.

The Les Orres resort is continuing to improve the quality of its website, with a complete makeover. The www.lesorres.com website has undergone a complete overhaul, with a new, more up-to-date interface, optimized ergonomics and customer experience.
This "mobile-first" site gives visitors access to the full range of Les Orres services:
- Events calendar
- Real-time webcams
- Shops and services (restaurants, stores, etc.)
- Activities, ski schools, nurseries...
- Sales of ski passes and stays
- The latest news
- Etc.

Focus on the Féeries d'Hiver
Who hasn't dreamed of celebrating Christmas and New Year in the mountains, with their feet in the snow and their heads in the stars? At Les Orres, the magic of the festive season is at work in every corner of the resort, with glittering illuminations, enchanting entertainment and the warm smiles of enchanted children.
On the program: Christmas Quiz, Christmas Dance Party, elf toboggan race, snowman contest, Christmas bingo, blind test, treasure hunt, fair, storytelling, Olympics, torchlight descent, "Blanc comme neige" parade, ski show, not forgetting... the arrival of Santa Claus on his unusual sleigh..
