The Embrun Lake, a recreational area at the foot of the Orres Mountains
In Embrun, a small town located 15 minutes from Les Orres, don’t miss the lake, its beaches, and its activities! Rent stand-up paddleboards and pedal boats, enjoy activities for the little ones like the carousel or the Rosalies, and visit the Embrun Aquaparc—not to mention indulging in some delicious ice cream while listening to the lapping of the water!

SWIMMING AT LAKE SERRE-PONCON
A prime spot for relaxing, swimming, and fishing—take a dip in Lake Serre-Ponçon. Of the lake’s 90 km of shoreline, only 13 km are developed for public use. Take a boat ride or go paddleboarding; explore the wilder coves by kayak or windsurfing; get your adrenaline pumping with tubing or water skiing… it’s the perfect base camp! Elsewhere, nature is everywhere.
Lake Serre-Ponçon is the largest artificial lake in metropolitan France.
