Like every year, the OCOVA forum brings together local authorities, mountain resort operators, local decision-makers and development policy-makers with innovation leaders in intelligent technologies. It's an opportunity to take stock of the projects, models and technological advances that are shaping the future of mountain resorts and territories. OCOVA 2022 focuses on innovative digital solutions for the ecological transition of Alpine resorts and valleys, and on the evolution of mountain tourism.
The program includes presentations and exchanges on the implementation ofdigital ecosystems for ecological transition dedicated to communities and users in mountain territories on the scale of the Alpine arc. A second session will present the approaches developed by partners in Novaltitude, a project currently under development. This project follows on from the European Smart Altitude 2018-2021 project (lead partner Les Orres), which focused on energy management in mountain resorts. The new project aims to deepen its results through the implementation of collective digital solutions based on theInternet of Things applied to new fields of infrastructure management such as water, mobility, waste and the circular economy, and to extend them to the resort/valley territory.
A round-table discussion will bring together leading representatives of mountain tourism territories, tourism operators, R&D, decision-makers and financiers to debate theevolution of tourism models in the light of economic and ecological challenges.
The forum will feature the following speakers: Région SUD, Région AURA, Regione Lombardia (IT), Aix-Marseille Université, ANMSM, UCPA, G2A Conseil, Agence de Développement des Hautes-Alpes, Les Orres, Isola 2000, Crédit Agricole, Eaton, SerenySun Energies, Territoire d'Energie Hautes-Alpes SyME05, API-k, WIT, Fondazione Bruno Kessler (IT), B.A.U.M Consult GmbH (DE), ecoplus Alpin GmbH (AU). Companies, local authorities and training providers will be showcasing their work and achievements in the exhibition area.
