The Hautes-Alpes resort of Les Orres welcomes VIP beginners! Whatever your age, thanks to its new facilities designed with novices in mind, it's THE ideal resort for a serene introduction to skiing. 1 A new beginners' area at 1800

In addition to the beginners' area already present on the 1650 side of the resort, the snow front at Les Orres 1800 has been completely remodeled , with two areas entirely dedicated to learning to ski, and a toboggan area.

The former Préclaux chairlift and Bois Méan ski lift have been replaced by two covered conveyors, 55 and 200 metres long:

  • Free of charge, the first Bois Méan conveyor serves the beginners' area (accessible only on skis). No need for a ski pass to take your little ones to the ski school gardens or to make their first slides! Accessible to pedestrians, families and friends can cheer on budding skiers.
  • The larger Préclaux carpet serves the beginners' area as well as the Marmottes green run, which takes you all the way to Les Orres 1650.

On the slopes, the new Prébois green run is wide and gently sloping, providing a gentle descent to the new Prébois chairlift at 1650.

2 / A special beginners' package

The Premières traces offer at Les Orres is a day pass giving access to the Champ Lacas, Pic Vert, Prélongis and Prébois chairlifts, the Galopins 1 & 2, Prévieux and Riou Sec lifts, and the new Préclaux and Bois Méan covered carpets. Identified on the piste map by a green triangle surrounded by red, they open the doors to the area's green and blue pistes!

3 / A 100% ski-in ski-out resort

With residences and chalets in the immediate vicinity, the 1650 & 1800 snow fronts, like the rest of the resort, are 100% ski-in/ski-out. A godsend for families and beginners: learning made easy!

5/ After the effort, the comfort

Between two runs, take a break on one of the resort's many panoramic terraces. On the menu: a tanning session in a deckchair to take advantage of the resort's 300 days of annual sunshine!



6/ Small group lessons for beginners of all ages

Ski privilège: For young and old alike, this formula allows you to learn or perfect your technique in a small group of no more than 4 people, with personalized supervision.

Bébé skieur: Inspired bybaby swimmers, this concept allows children aged 2 and over to experience the joys of the snow with their parents. A reassuring introduction to the joys of sliding under the watchful eye of an instructor, with discovery of the magic carpet and first slides. maximum 4 baby skiers.

Prices: 3x1h per week. From €20 per session, €50 for 3 sessions during school vacations or on request for 2 children or more.

Bébé snowboardeur : Thanks to Burton Riglet boards equipped with a retractable leash, mini-riders aged 3 to 6 can enjoy their first snowboard rides on a program specially created for them. Fun guaranteed!

Prices: at Jardin des Neiges, €49 for 1h private lesson, €42 for 1h30 group lesson (maximum 4 children) or €190 for 6 group lessons.
