Game of Trees festival returns to Les Orres from July 29 to August 03, 2024, for a crazy edition! This Haute-Alpes festival combines concerts and shows with a focus on the region's cultural and natural heritage.

A full and varied line-up

thanks to artists such as Pomme, Worakls Orchestra, Cerrone, Gérémy Crédeville, AC/DÇU, Da Break... The line-up* for this third edition also features emerging talents and local artists: Tango Nomade, Formless, Nina Versyp, Malaka, Rosaway, Darkrose... They'll take place at the heart of the Espace Rencontre Culture des Orres, in a human-sized venue, giving way to memorable experiences close to the artists.

An eclectic festival where entertainment, music, art, nature and eco-adventure come together to celebrate our environment and arouse our emotions

Throughout the year, local artists, craftsmen, actors and collectives come together in the "Fabrique Game of Trees", to imagine and create works, shows and actions capable of making spectators travel and interact on the theme of tomorrow's mountains. For this new edition, energy and the elements are our sources of inspiration!

Experience Grandeur Nature for all ages, imagining new stories and taking a fresh look at the environment that surrounds us:

  • The arts unite to highlight the natural heritage of the Haute-Alpes. The "off" program invites you to marvel: shows, exhibitions, writing and painting workshops..
  • Playful, participatory and immersive workshops take root in the heart of the "Enchanted Forest": tree climbing with Papa Ours Nature, walks with eco-adventurers, building a driftwood structure, sensory walks..
  • Encounters and challenges with our "Sport Planète" eco-adventurers, a conference on water with Juliette Duquesne, exchanges with journalist Anne-Sophie Novel, who specializes in popularizing issues linked to climate change and the extinction of living organisms, ski mountaineering world champion Laetitia Roux, wingfoil world champion Flora Artzner... The Game of Trees festival is also a showcase for our local know-how. On Friday, August 2, 2024, the "Marché des Alchimistes" will feature producers, artists and craftspeople from the Haute-Alpes region, in the heart of the Les Orres resort.

Invitation to the opening of the festival

We invite you to the conference "L'eau que nous sommes, un élément vital en péril" by Juliette Duquesne, which will open the festivities on Monday, July 29, 2024 at 11am in the Espace Rencontre Culture room at Les Orres.

The conference will be preceded by a PRESS CONFERENCE from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Espace Rencontre et Culture des Orres 1650.

Climate change, growing consumption: water scarcity no longer spares France. The term 'water war' is appearing in the media. But what's really going on? Where do we stand, and what solutions can we implement? The way we eat plays a central role not only in the quantity of water we consume, but also in its pollution. A coveted commodity for multinational companies, water is a precious common good that needs to be managed collectively. How can we consume it more sparingly, ecologically, fairly and locally? ".
