In 2024, France Montagnes, under the impetus of its three founding members, the Association Nationale des Stations

Association Nationale des Stations de Montagne, Domaines Skiables de France and the Syndicat National des

Moniteurs du Ski Français, is proposing a brand-new national solidarity event

to help youngsters discover the mountains.

A torch sale with ESF instructors to benefit 3 associations

For one evening, French mountain resorts are invited to organize a torchlight descent with their ESF ski instructors. 20,000 torches will be on sale to raise funds for 3 associations: Petits Princes, Génération Montagne and Enfance et Montagne.

With the aim of making it a recurring event, "Les p'tits flambeaux" is designed to mobilize French ski resorts around a common goal: to raise funds to enable children who are not fortunate enough to be able to go on vacation to discover the French massifs and the benefits of the mountains.

In Les Orres, this torchlight descent will take place on February 14.

ON THE PROGRAM

> Ski Show presented by the ESF (French Ski School)

> Torchlight descent by ESF instructors

> Fireworks to round off the day!

See you on the 1650 snow front from 6.15pm!

Petits Princes

The Petits Princes Association, founded in 1987, makes the dreams of seriously ill children and teenagers come true, with 3 main objectives:

  • Provide extra energy to fight illness: a child who lives out his or her passions and dreams is a child who finds extra energy to face illness.
  • Follow children throughout their illness: the Petits Princes Association is the only one in France to make several dreams come true for the same sick child if his or her condition so requires, depending on the progress of the pathology and treatments. The Association's volunteers are in regular contact with the children, their families and the medical staff to ensure long-term support.
  • Supporting the whole family: because the disease disrupts the whole family, in most cases parents and siblings live out their dreams alongside the child.

Génération Montagne

In April 2022, Domaines Skiables de France set up the Génération Montagne fund, whose mission is to support the whole family in the fight against the disease
