From last Saturday to Saturday, January 27, Les Orres resort is hosting "THE CREW HOUSE", a gathering of 15 Twitch streamers, including streamer/caster/host @Lutti, a regular at Les Orres, and streamer @Tsunadida, who between them have almost 400,000 Twitch subscribers. Between gaming, live IRLs, sessions on the slopes and discovering the resort, this week promises to be full of surprises.

The gaming world to reach new customers

Born of the development of online video game competitions, the streamer profession has completely exploded in recent years, enabling some people to make a living from their passion. By offering and broadcasting live or recorded games with commentary, on platforms such as Youtube Gaming or Twitch, a streamer can bring together a community of several thousand people.

The resort of Les Orres has taken the gamble of capitalizing on this new community and integrating gaming into its communications strategy to reach the under-30s, who are now major consumers of this kind of web content (90% of Generation Z are gamers).

The Crew House: Winter edition in Les Orres

What is The Crew House? The Crew House is organized by streamer Tsunadida, with the aim of bringing together a multi-gaming community in one place for a set period of time , to meet, exchange ideas, play and laugh together. For its first "winter" edition (the first edition of The Crew House took place last summer), the bartender wanted to bring players together again in a ski resort. She turned to Les Orres, encouraged by the positive feedback from Alexandre Lutti, aka @Lutti on the networks, who knows the resort very well, having played in its very first Mario Kart tournaments.

The participants

Lipton, Monster, Nicoof07, Sklim31... That's right, our participants are not called by their first names, but by their streamer pseudonyms! They're all used to the world of video games, but their universe is very different from that of the mountains, as they stream their games to their communities in real time. And that's the whole point of The Crew House: to transpose the world of gaming to that of the resort, from the virtual to the real, from the indoor to the outdoor, in the image of the Pôle Sport Innovation which opened its doors this season.

All week long, streamers will compete in 3 teams of 5, taking on numerous challenges throughout the resort and with socio-professionals. The best team will win the grand prize: private access to the Alpin Spa, partner of the event.

This week's "TCH" program

Since last Saturday, we've been holding a series of live IRL (in real life) events in the resort, broadcast on Twitch, Tiktok and Instagram. Streamers get together every morning and split into 3 teams of 5 to take on in-resort challenges, treasure hunts, activities and more. It's a great way to discover Les Orres in a fun way, and to share these live moments with your subscribers. Every afternoon, a new live set is broadcast from the Chalet Chalou, rented by the Agence des Orres. This is an opportunity for streamers to get together and produce and broadcast new fun content, including cooking classes, quizzes, theater evenings and more.

New this winter, our streamers will be visiting and testing the activities of the Pôle Sport Innovation during a live broadcast on Wednesday January 24 at 10am. You can follow them as they climb the walls of the climbing gyms, or try out the virtual reality sports simulators.

Another highlight is the Mario Kart Tournament, scheduled for Wednesday January 24 at 1pm at the Espace Rencontre et Culture in Les Orres (1pm: on-site registration / 2pm: start of tournament). This is where streamer Lutti first played tournaments, and where he got his taste for gaming and animation! Free and open to all with registration, this tournament will give holidaymakers the chance to watch streamers battle it out live on the big screen.
