The TF1 "Mission Neige" news team set up in Les Orres during Christmas week to report on Christmas festivities for the 1pm and 8pm newscasts.

They covered a wide range of subjects: the arrival of holidaymakers, the ski resort economy, snow conditions, Christmas festivities and meals, freestyle activities, local families working in the resort, the impact of strikes on bookings, ....

With each newscast, between 5 and 7 million viewers were able to discover or re-discover the offer and atmosphere of the Les Orres resort and its key players. The operation was a great success, complementing an excellent start to the season.
