The Les Orres ski resort kicks off its summer season with the pre-opening of its lifts on June 12 and 13. After a year's forced shutdown, the chairlifts will be back in service, transporting pedestrians and mountain bikers eager for a well-deserved breath of fresh air! The reunion will be marked by new features at the bike park and at our activity providers, events and activities all summer long, and of course by the smiles of the resort's professionals, who are just as eager to share their attachment to their region. The resort will then be open on June 19/20, then continuously from June 26 to August 30, and to prolong the pleasure on the weekends of September 4/5, 10/11/12 and 18/19, 2021.

IN ADRENALINE MODE

NEW SpeedLine: one of Europe's longest zip lines!



Thrills guaranteed on the SpeedLine, with an adrenaline rush at 140 km/h! The new Les Orres zip line is the fifth longest in France, and one of the longest in Europe, with a length of 1870 m. Accessible from the age of 8, the SpeedLine allows you to fly over the cycling area and pastures at over 105 m above the ground, installed in a gondola similar to that of a paraglider.

The ride starts from the top of the Pic Vert chairlift, at an altitude of 2,240 m, for almost two kilometers of thrills to be enjoyed lying down, alone or in pairs, before the smooth arrival at Les Orres. The result: a unique panorama of Lake Serre-Ponçon and the Embrun valley.

NEW Barefoot hiking



Get back in touch with the earth - that's the promise of this sensory hike for our battered feet! Supervised by mountain guide Elodie, this session focuses on your feet and the sensations of walking. Hikers are then introduced to foot reflexology, a gentle, natural therapy that reinforces the body's energetic balance, before testing out the benefits of barefoot walking. As the walk continues, the "spring" effect is immediate: your feet feel so light that you can effortlessly negotiate the last hurdles! A bluffing, relaxing experience.

Venture away from the resort to explore the hamlet trails and discover the treasures of Les Orres. Departing from the main town of Les Orres and the hamlet of Les Ribes, two new signposted loops of 3.5 and 9 km explore the little-known heritage of Les Orres. Ruins of the ancient château, chapels, church and campanile tell the story of life in days gone by, while offering an exceptional 360° panorama. And don't forget to grab a cold drink at Maison Fichet, a charming and eclectic bistro in the village center, with a media library and grocery store. A trip back in time for all the family.

THE PASSP'ORRES >> THE ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT MULTI-ACTIVITY PASS

If the ski pass opens the doors to the ski area in winter, the Passp'Orres opens the doors to the mountain in summer! All aboard for a sensational week.

Available in 1, 3, 6 or 13-day versions, the Passp'Orres offers unlimited access to the heated outdoor pool, skating rink, tobogganing, tennis courts, cinema, board games, multi-sports equipment, boules and pedestrian chairlifts. SKF MOUNTAIN BIKE DH FRENCH CUP >> SEPTEMBER 11 & 12, 2021

Two days of madness for the final round of the French Downhill Cup, during which the cream of French downhillers will set the slopes on fire!

BIKE PARK CLOSING SEPTEMBER 18 & 19, 2021

A timed run, a pumptrack contest, a concert, a partners' village and a barbecue at the end of the day are all on hand to bring the season to a fitting close. Plus: free ski pass for girls!
