The Les Orres resort launched its summer season on June 12 and 13 with the pre-opening of its lifts. Mountain bikers and hikers will still be able to enjoy the summits this weekend of June 19-20, using the Prélongis and Pic Vert chairlifts, before opening continuously from June 26.
After a successful season launch last weekend, with almost 500 riders per day, the Les Orres resort is looking forward to satisfying visitors who have come to recharge their batteries and take a breath of fresh air. Mountain bikers will have plenty to do, with 10 downhill trails and 1 enduro route. Mountain walkers can also take advantage of the various hikes departing from the chairlifts. For a long hike through the larch forest, we can't recommend enough the hike "Au frais des mélèzes", with its passage through Grand Clos and the water reserve that turns into a mirror lake. Lac de Sainte-Marguerite is also accessible from the resort.
A number of activities will also be open this weekend, including archery, the 4x4 model course and the "Jungle Aventure" accrobranche park, as well as the Horizons Tout Terrain mountain bike school for supervised mountain bike outings. For discovery and theme hikes, please make an appointment with our mountain guides. For a relaxing break, head to the La Jarbelle gîte and spa, overlooking the Vachères valley and bordering the river in the hamlet of Les Ribes, or book a wellness massage or manicure at the LS' Corner salon. In addition, numerous restaurants open their doors and terraces to share a well-deserved moment of conviviality!
