The resort of Les Orres is proud to be associated for the next 3 years with the Team Commençal Enduro - DH under the name "TEAM COMMENÇAL - LES ORRES".

This partnership has been built up over time and is the source of many synergies and shared ambitions.

On the one hand, the Commençal brand is a long-standing partner of the Bike Park des Orres.



On the other hand, this new partnership fits in perfectly with the team's new projects: all the riders will be racing on the Enduro World Series circuit as well as the Downhill World Cup. The COMMENÇAL - LES ORRES team officially becomes a UCI Team, opening a major chapter in their evolution.

Swiss rider Lisa Baumann also joins the COMMENCAL / LES ORRES team! After riding Cross-Country for several years, Lisa became Swiss Enduro Champion at just 20 years of age. Her victory at the Crans Montana Enduro World Series in the U21 category confirmed her potential in the discipline. Like Antoine Vidal (FRA), she will be competing in the Elite category in 2022. Alizés Lassus (FRA) and Jack Piercy (ENG) will both ride in the U19 category, and all will be coached by Cécile Ravanel.

A strong dynamic that is fully integrated into the development of the Les Orres resort, both in terms of the continuous improvement of its Bike Park and the hosting of mountain bike competitions : EWS in 2019, Coupe de France in 2020-21, next September 2022 the hosting of the French Championship as well as our bid for the UCI DH World Cup for 2024-25.

We're very excited to support and welcome the "Commençal - Les Orres" team, and wish the team riders lots of fun riding and flying the colors of Les Orres!

The arrival of Les Orres as title sponsor marks a new stage in the evolution of our team. We've always made a point of writing great stories with the product partners who enable us to ride bikes tuned to the millimeter, and now we're supported by the French resort best equipped to meet our training needs. All the conditions are in place for a great season!

We've always been keen to train young athletes so that they can go on to compete at the highest elite level. Antoine Vidal is the most recent example of this, and he is now playing a leading role in Enduro and DH. The aim is to have complete athletes who are happy to take part in the world's finest competitions, and I'm already looking forward to accompanying them in such projects.

The resort of Les Orres is proud to associate its name for the next three years with the COMMENCAL / LES ORRES Team. We were greatly impressed by the ambition and diversity of the team's riders (Enduro-DH, Women and Men) at European level, as well as by the spirit and enthusiasm of their coaches Cécile and Cédric Ravanel. This new dynamic fits in perfectly with the development of the Les Orres resort, which in addition to improving its Bike Park every year, will host the 2022 French Mountain Bike Championships. At the same time, we hope to receive a positive response to our bid to host a UCI DH World Cup in 2024-25.
