On Friday March 15, the new Pôle Sport Innovation and indoor parking lot in Les Orres were presented. Architects, builders, technology solution providers, financiers, partners, Orrians... all were invited to discover these new facilities in the presence of Pierre Vollaire, Mayor of Les Orres. At the end of the visit, a convivial buffet was shared with all the guests, who were able to take advantage of the sunshine to continue the day on the slopes of the ski area.

The Banque des Territoires, Crédit Agricole, Banque Populaire, Dynaflow, Ski Data Europe, Ski Indoor 4810, the French Ski Federation, the Haut-Alpes ski resorts, the ESF Alpes du Sud schools, Aix-Marseille University, representatives of Venelles sports clubs, the Gap branch of the Faculty of Sports, architects Baillon-Henrion, Allamanno and Hermitte TP companies, staff from the commune and SEMLORE, local residents... All were present this morning for the presentation of the Pôle Sport Innovation.

Pierre Vollaire, Mayor of Les Orres, took the floor to present and, above all, to thank all the players involved in the creation of this unique facility:

"The excellent feedback on this new venue, combined with the very good figures for this winter season, confirm our pragmatic approach to the economic model for the mountains of tomorrow.

We could have rested on these excellent results, but we decided to bet on novelty and renewal. This new facility, the only one of its kind in the world, enables us to simulate mountain sports and leisure activities at the right level of acceptability (from the blue run to the French Championship run), and to encourage users to practice continuously, with the support of professionals, and to improve their performance.

The Pôle Sport Innovation is a real tool for collaborative dynamics. Experts from all fields were involved in its creation, including robotics, virtual reality, university research, the world of sport and equipment... The regional aspect is also very present, with the involvement of local building and civil engineering companies such as Allamano and Hermitte TP, the Embrun Lycée des Métiers, architects from Baillon-Henrion... Everyone was able to make their own contribution, and all the teams are proud of the result.

If we were able to inaugurate this building today, it's also because we're lucky enough to be surrounded by people with an innovative spirit, who actively seek change rather than waiting to adapt to it.

We would also like to thank our 270,000 customers, because this project is also theirs. It's important to retain them, build loyalty and, above all, keep them happy, and the early returns are already exceeding our expectations."
