Patrolair* sets up a specialized drone center of excellence in Les Orres to train drone pilots in French ski resorts! The Hautes-Alpes resort is contributing its logistical expertise and mountain setting to this initiative - a world first- for the operational management of missions.
The numerous applications dedicated to the safety of people and equipment, and environmental protection, are increasingly sought after by mountain rescue professionals and ski resorts, such as the slope services of Les Orres and Val Cenis, in training from September 11 to 15, or Courchevel, currently in training.
Managed by professionals with backgrounds in industry, aeronautics and defense, Patrolair trains mountain telepilots in the use of these machines for special missions requiring excellent technical mastery of both procedures and regulations.

Also open to the general public, these Qualiopi-certified training courses take place in two stages: theory followed by practical application in the wide, unspoilt open spaces of Les Orres. An ideal playground for practising in a mountain ecosystem with relief, obstacles and the presence of animals. In addition, a forum will soon be available to encourage exchanges and feedback between professionals.
